You might be feeling intimidated by the idea of writing a book proposal. How do you go from research and writing to the idea of “selling” your idea? This 90-minute workshop will shift your mindset about what a book proposal can be, give you some tools to get started on your own book proposal, and explain how to write and prepare each section.

Phoebe Farag Mikhail is the author of two nonfiction books: Putting Joy into Practice: Seven Ways to Lift Your Spirit from the Early Church and Hunger for Righteousness: A Lenten Journey Towards Intimacy with God and Loving Our Neighbor, both published by Paraclete Press. She has also coached many authors on their books and book proposals, served as a cultural accuracy and sensitivity editor, and taught academic writing and research to undergraduate and graduate students.

Writers at every stage are welcome. We hope you will join us! (Orthodox women only, please).
