In our first-ever regional gathering, we'll hear from Contemplative Prayer Practitioner Jennifer Anna Rich, author of the Substack 'be still ... contemplative prayer for busy people', and co-founded of the St Gavrilia Circle of Light. Jennifer has led pilgrimages to Greece to introduce Orthodox women to St. Gavirilia - one of them with Axia in 2024!
St. Gavrilia was known as the "Ascetic of Love," but her teachings also offer us much wisdom on the life-giving relationship between prayer and silence. Join us in a rich time of conversation together, and have a chance to meet Orthodox women from many jurisdictions across the Pacific Northwest!
